EPON ONU STICK

Link-all's PON SFP is a series of optical transceiver modules operating in Passive Optical Networks (PON). From the Central Office’s (CO) Optical Line Terminal (OLT, with PON SFP transceiver/module) a single strand of fiber goes out to a passive optical splitter where its signal is multiplied to maximum 128/64 different lines in GPON/EPON. The Transmit and Receive signals operate on different wavelengths realizing bi-directional operation at 1490nm/1310nm wavelengths over a single fiber. Gigabit Passive Optical Networks (GPON) ITU G.984 standards have defined downstream data rates up to 2.5Gbps. Ethernet Passive Optical Networks (GEPON or EPON) IEEE 802.3ah standards have defined downstream data rates up to 1.25Gbps.

Product Overview

Link-all's EPON ONU STICKs are optical transceiver modules with a built-in 1.25G EPON ONU. They complies with IEEE802.3ah EPON standard and support CTC OAM. Digital diagnostics functions are available via the 2-wire serial bus specified in the SFP MSA. Link-all's EPON ONU sticks are compatible with the Small Form Factor Multi-Sourcing Agreement (MSA) and interoperable with standard-compliant EPON OLTs.

Ethernet Passive Optical Networks(EPON)
An MSA-compliant SFP that incorporates not just the optics for an ONU, but all of the electronics need as well. It is a "PON on a Stick" that an entire FTTH ONU in a slightly oversized SFP. It can be plugged into networking equipment. Allowing the data interfaces on a switch , router，PBX, etc. to be customized for different fiber environments and distance requirements
