Link-all's GPON ONU STICKs are optical transceiver modules with a built-in 1244Mbps / RX 2488Mbps GPON ONU. They complies with ITU-T G.984.2 GPON standard and support ITU-T G.988 OMCI. Digital diagnostics functions are available via the 2-wire serial bus specified in the SFP MSA. Link-all's GPON ONU sticks are compatible with the Small Form Factor Multi-Sourcing Agreement (MSA) and interoperable with standard-compliant GPON OLTs.

Product Overview

Link-all's PON SFP is a series of optical transceiver modules operating in Passive Optical Networks (PON).
From the Central Office’s (CO) Optical Line Terminal (OLT, with PON SFP transceiver/module) a single strand of fiber goes out to a passive optical splitter where its signal is multiplied to maximum 128/64 different lines inGPON/EPON. The Transmit and Receive signals operate on different wavelengths realizing bi-directional operation at 1490nm/1310nm wavelengths over a single fiber.
Gigabit Passive Optical Networks (GPON) ITU G.984 standards have defined downstream data rates up to 2.5Gbps.
Ethernet Passive Optical Networks (GEPON or EPON) IEEE 802.3ah standards have defined downstream data rates up to 1.25Gbps.
